Up until the day of the draft we will be making full first round
predictions for the 2007 NFL Draft. The Mock Draft will be updated on a
regular basis as teams needs and situations change. + or - next to a
player means how many spots they have moved up or down from the last
time the poll was updated. NR = Not previously rated, NC = No Change
from last update.

1. Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU
(NC)
You might as well give JaMarcus a Raiders
Jersey. Unless they make a trade, you can write this pick in stone. The
Raiders need a QB with a gun and Russell is their man. I still question
his ability to win in the NFL based on a few good seasons at LSU - size
isn't everything.
2. Detroit Lions - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
(NC)
The funny thing is that I have had Brady Quinn going to the Lions since
the very first mock draft I put together this year. Now all of a sudden
people are starting to see the light and realizing that the Lions need a
young QB prospect more then another WR, OT or RB. Again lock this in
unless they make a trade.
3. Cleveland Browns - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
(+4)
This pick is a tough one because the
Brown's have so many needs. At first I thought they would go with the
best player in the draft - Calvin Johnson - even though a WR should not
be their first or second priority. However, after looking at the off
season moves the Browns made I now think they will go RB and draft
Peterson.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
(-1)
The Buccaneers will be jumping for joy if Johnson falls to them. With
the signing of Jeff Garcia and Joey Galloway and the rest of the Tampa
Bay receivers getting long in the tooth, picking Johnson makes the most
sense and will have an immediate impact on wins next year.
5. Arizona Cardinals - Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
(NC)
The Cardinals only sensible
pick at #5 is Thomas. He is the best OT to come out in years and they
need to give Leinart more time to throw. This is a no brainer.
6. Washington Redskins - Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
(NC)
Odds are the Redskins will make a move
here, if they stay at the 6 spot they will go Defense and Adams is the
top choice.
7. Minnesota Vikings - Leon
Hall, CB, Michigan
(+8)
With all of the offensive
options gone the Vikings have an opportunity to upgrade their defensive.
Leon Hall is a shut down CB and will make an immediate impact for a team
that needs help.
8. Atlanta Falcons from Houston Texans -
LaRon Landry, S, LSU
(+3)
9. Miami Dolphins - Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
(-2)
10. Houston Texans from Atlanta Falcons -
Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC
(-2)
11. San Francisco 49ers - Ted Ginn, Jr., WR, Ohio State
(-7)
12. Buffalo Bills - Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
(NC)
13. St. Louis Rams - Tony Ugoh, OT, Arkansas
(NC)
14. Carolina Panthers - Levi Brown, OT, Penn State
(NC)
15. Pittsburgh Steelers - Patrick Willis, LB, Mississippi
(+5)
16. Green Bay Packers - Marshawn Lynch, RB, California
(NC)
17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Charles Johnson, DE, Georgia
(NC)
18. Cincinnati Bengal's - Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida State
(NC)
19. Tennessee Titans - Darrelle Revis, CB, Pittsburgh
(-4)
20. New York Giants - DeMarcus Tyler, DT, NC State

Harrell, DT, Tennessee
